"Girl with the Pearl Earring" reproduction print that is framed in a beautiful ornamental frame. It was framed by Blackwood and it measures 27" x 31" high. The original oil painting on canvas was completed in 1665 by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer and is one of his most well known works. It depicts an imaginary young woman in exotic dress and a very large pearl earring. The work permanently resides in the Mauritshuis museum in the The Hague.

Framed Poster Print of "Calla Lilies". The original was painted by E. Mandler Hampe. Her works were featured in The Windjammer Galleries and it is a print that is pencil signed by the artist and measures 24" x 30" tall. Colorful and elegant, Elizabeth Hampe's original watercolor artwork shows beautiful complexity through their simple lines in her award winning paintings of vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Hampe's flower paintings have been publishing in House Beautiful Magazine, and she has done a series of fruit paintings for note cards. Saks Fifth Avenue commissioned a series of paintings, and dedicated a window to her works in 1980.

Antique Patent Brass Clock made by Chauncey Jerome in New Haven, Connecticut. Chauncey Jerome was a famous clockmaker and lived from 1793 through 1868. He sold more clocks than any of his competitors and he invented the brass movement for clocks that changed the entire clock world. Before the works were made of wood. He developed a stamping program that allowed his companies to produce more clocks annually and cheaper than anyone else. He is future should have been secured but he was bought out the Bridgeport Clock Company which was controlled by PT Barnum and that went into bankruptcy. He never recovered and died penniless at age 74. He wrote, "The ticking of the clock is music to me. Although many of my experiences as a businessman have been trying and bitter, I have the satisfaction of knowing I have lived a life as an honest man and have been some use to my fellow men." Please note that the face of the clock has slipped. The other parts are seen in pictures. The clock measures 15.5" x 4.5" x 25.5" tall.

Steinway & Sons Upright Piano. It features an accelerated action and diaphragmatic soundboard. This was patented in 1937. The keyboard measures 48 inches and it is number 308843. It is marked Steinway on the inside of the piano as well as the outside. Steinway & Sons upright pianos are handcrafted to the highest standard of quality in the same factory as our grands, using the same materials, techniques, conditioning processes and craftsmen. The only difference is that they are built in the vertical department, where those same processes are vertically oriented. Vintage Roos Cedar Chest with a seal tight lid that was patented. Made in Forest Park Illinois. It has a lovely Victorian motif and a small narrow tray that folds down into the cedar cabinet. It measures 45" x 19" x 17 half inches tall. Roos Manufacturing Co. was started by Otto's brother, Edward. The company split and Ed moved to Forest Park, IL in 1918 and changed its name to the Ed Roos Co. of Forest Park. In the 1920 federal census, Otto Roos is listed as President of a wooden wares business of RMC. By 1930 Ed Roos Co. had reached its peak production period and became the largest chest manufacturer in the world, employing 400 people, and using three million feet of timber a year. Following Edward Roos death in 1943, the government placed restrictions on the company during World War 2. The company fell on hard times and was sold off in 1951, only to be closed four years later in 1955.

Wonderful limited impression of an etching in drypoint and aquatint that is pencil signed by the artist W. Walcot. William Walcot (1874-1943) an English Architect and quintessential artist of the Modern British Etching Boom went to considerable lengths to ensure the architectural accuracy of his depiction of his buildings that were comparatively well known in their design and were chronicled in various writings. William Walcot has not merely reconstructed the architecture of ancient Rome in this etching, but has shown the living character of its purpose. It is matted and framed under glass in a silver tone wooden frame. Please note it does have a water spot on the top upper right of the mat. It was professionally framed by Keystone Picture Frame Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It measures 30" x 28".

Lovely colored lithograph by perhaps Elie Anatole Pavil. It is pencil signed by the artist in the lower highthand corner. Elie Anatole Pavil was born in Odessa, Russia in 1873. He came to Paris in 1892. He established himself in Montmartre, on the Rue Caulaincourt. He had arrived at the high point of La Belle Epoque and dedicated himself to capturing its atmosphere on canvas. For most of the next fifty years, he painted the scenes of Paris. His paintings show an intimate knowledge of the inhabitants of the streets and alleys of Montmartre. This shows a bridge over a river and it is lightly colored. This piece is beautifully framed under glass and measures 15" x 12".
