Most of these are the French inspired vegetable pattern.It was produced from 1972 through 1987 and featured the earth tones that were so popular in the 1970s. Spice O' Life was a band of vegetables that included mushrooms, artichokes and garlic. L'Echalote (the shallot) was written in script under the vegetables on some pieces. Sculpture of a Bust of Moses holding two stone tablets. It is imprinted with the artist signature on the back Bergier and dated '67. Arnold Henry Bergier (1914-2007) was a sculptor, collagist, and caricaturist, he did sculptures which include portraits from life of prominent persons, works for synagogues and churches, and public buildings. Bergier sang in the Metropolitan Opera chorus as a young man, and in 1938 he went to Paris where he studied art with Camilo Egas, Robert Gwathmey, and others, returning to the Village after the outbreak of World War II. He joined the Navy and served in the Pacific on an L.S.T. landing craft and later with a unit that made relief maps from aerial photos taken with a Speed Graphic camera. He lived in New York and died 19 January 2007 in New York City at the age of 92.

The bright, swirling designs of this distinctive pottery were created by the Nemadji Tile & Pottery Co. of Moose Lake, Minnesota. They began producing their swirled pottery in 1929. A distinctive product and clever marketing were the roots of their success. The name “Nemadji” is an Ojibwe word meaning “left-handed.” In the information sheet that accompanied their pots, Nemadji stressed that their wares were made with the same clays and shapes used by Native Americans. The porcelain collection begins with a shepherd and next is a shepherdess possible Meissen on number 6880 you see the two crossed swords on the bottom. Next is a young man carrying a basket this is an Ardalt and number 6149 the label is on the bottom. Next we have a figurine with the famous china lace and then a sleigh also another Ardalt porcelain made in Japan number 6433D. There is a woman carrying a basket of fruit with a child and the dog at her side. And a Victorian woman figurine that was number 6149. Next is a gentleman from the French or English court noticed the tricorn hat and the knickers. There is a gardener a labeled M6 from the Antique Gallery this was made in Japan and handmaded also a small Toby mug made in Japan. Lovely collection of collector porcelain and glass beginning with a rare three couple peace with the fathers mother and son. Mothers playing a stringed instrument while the fathers caring fruit and the son is carrying grapes. This is has the crown mark on the bottom. The detail is incredible. Next there is a Limoges piece that is made in France and an egg that is made in Japan. Please note the circle porcelain piece with the bird in the center. Next is a perhaps porcelaine of a Russian man in a hunting vest with a gun. Please note the crossed arrows and this is 33/184. Then we see a Victorian Lady Ardalt labeled 6162 grows registered.
