Original Dinky Toys #114 Triumph Spitfire. It comes with the original box that show all the incredible working details on the end of the box. It shows a driver with a seatbelt. Really cool! Dinky Toys was the brand name for a range of die cast zamak zinc alloy miniature vehicles produced by Meccano Ltd. They were made in England from 1934 to 1979, at a factory in Binns Road in Liverpool. Dinky Toys were among the most popular diecast vehicles ever made. These predated other popular diecast cars, including Corgi, Matchbox and Mattel's Hot Wheels. Very expensive and collectable now. Pairs with items 42-57.
