Spectacular limited edition possible silkscreen, signed and numbered in pencil. ^24/^50. This amazing work is by Shraga Weil, born in Nitra Slovakia in September of 1918. He died in 2009 in Israel. What an amazing artist who survived the Holocaust with his wife and bravely shepherded immigrants from a forced stay in Cyprus to Palestine. In the 60s and 70s he conducted many architectural projects such as the Knesset entrance doors, door of the president and other prominent works paintings and graphic designs using symbols and themes from the Bible, Jewish tradition and symbols from other sources. Our piece measures 28" x 21". This is a treasure.

Westinghouse Refrigerator Pottery Pieces these are made exclusively for Westinghouse by the Hall China Company Made in USA. They have yellow interiors with a light blue exterior and a yellow lid. They are chipped in a few places but would be a wonderful addition to a retro kitchen. Long before Tupperware was a gleam in the eye of DuPont chemist Earl Tupper, much perishable food in America was protected in the fridge within sturdy china containers, some of the most handsome of which was produced by the Hall China Co. of Liverpool, Ohio. The refrigerator line was inaugurated in the late Thirties. We have other Hall China items in this auction don't miss them.

Two Tombstone Rubbings from England, Each rubbing is unique and was made by hand using gold wax crayons on black paper. These were done in the early 1970s, before churches, cathedrals and abbeys closed their doors to amateur brass rubbers. These are not facsimiles, nor are they manufactured copies. They are the result of laying a sheet of paper on a brass plaque and manually tracing over the plaque engraving. It required considerable skill and took a lot of time. They each measure 15" x 41".

Authentic aboriginal art from Australia it is entitled "From the Bush" and was designed by Gabriella Possum. This story centers around a waterhole in the spring or early summer. The waterhole is full of the lifeforms. In the desert are plentiful background features with break of colors with the addition of flowers and fruit. In other words, a time of plenty. The major feature in the large snake who laid claim to the waterhole making it her home laying her eggs. Close by are the two visitors to the waterhole, whose prints are in the bottom right of the picture. The humans who came to drink did not leave, perhaps they were victims of the snake. The wombat who approaches from the right of the picture sees what is happening and turns away to water elsewhere. It is framed with Tru guard UV protection glass and measures 22" x 21".

Five interesting and unique Bossons Faces. These are made in England world copyright reserved. Ray Bossons was an extremely talented artist with an intuitive ability to anticipate market trends. He was the creative genius and the designer extraordinaire of the W. H. Bossons Companies following the death of his father, W. H. Bossons in 1951. The company's reputation spread within a comparatively short period of time to all the principal markets of the world. Most of the original ideas and basic concepts came from Ray Bossons fertile imagination. He would sketch the ideas for the wall masks and figurines after much research on each character to be portrayed. The original models were executed in clay by highly talented sculptors with no limit set on the time it took to create an original model. Ray Bossons would set the standards for the pieces and then turn them over to the staff of painters to complete. Much to the chagrin of Bossons collectors worldwide, the company closed its doors and ceased all operation on December 6, 1996. Mr. W. Ray Bossons passed away on May 27, 1999 at age 80.
