Antique Columbia Record Player This is the Grafonola model as noted on the original label inside of the lid. It features the wooden cabinet with numbered slot openings and is mounted on four legs. Some of the gramophone parts are missing. There is a checkerboard pattern on the top. Please let the pictures be your guide. It is a brand of early 20th century American phonograph made by the Columbia Graphophone Company. Introduced in 1907, Grafonolas had internal horn alternatives to the same company's external horn Disc Graphophones. American Columbia Grafonolas continued to be manufactured up until 1923 when the company was purchased by British entrepreneur Luis Sterling. It measures 20" x 21" x 45" high.
