Two beautiful Framed Cue Ball Prints, Break 'em By (7) and Solids & Stripes (5) by Susan Gillette. Susan Gillette grew up in Woodstock and Rhinebeck, New York in the 1960s. Born to a college professor she was surrounded by culture and beauty of the Hudson River Valley. Susan received her Bachelor of Fine Art from SUNY at Purchase under the tutelage of Antonio Frasconi and Murray Zimiles. She continued on to the School of Visual Arts for her Master of Fine Art and Art Education. Her education was punctuated by employment at many magazines as an illustrator. After teaching art at Washington Irving High School in lower Manhattan, and Saint Mary’s Grade School in Yonkers, New York, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Once in Phoenix she was hired as a printmaker/designer at Phoenix Art Group until she branched out on her own in 1997. Since that time her work has been offered through galleries in LA, Seattle, Phoenix, New York, Canada and the UK. Susan has worked in multiple mediums often combining printmaking, collage and painting. Susan currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband. They enjoy travelling and outdoor activities. In these pieces, the numbers 7 and 5 are placed on the white mat and the Art Prints are framed under glass by Picture Source in Seattle Washington.

Three beautiful colored atmospheric photographs that are pencil signed. The artist was Wallace Nutting. The first one is Dressed as a Bride which measures 17" x 14", Afterglow which measures 10 1/2" x 14", and Over the Wall which measures 17" x 13". Mr. Nutting (1861-1941) was a U.S. minister, photographer, artist, and antiquarian, who is most famous for his landscape photos of New England. He also was an accomplished author, lecturer, furniture maker, antiques expert and collector. His atmospheric photographs helped spur the Colonial Revival style. In 1912, he published a catalog of prints that was 97 pages and included about 900 images. By 1915, Nutting claimed to be earning $1,000 per day. His photographs ranged in subject and price to suit a variety of tastes. His catalog included pastoral scenes such as views of abbeys, cathedrals, bridges, mountains, flowers, and winding roads. In the peak of his business, he employed about two hundred colorists. By his own account, Wallace Nutting sold ten million pictures. Wallace Nutting's colorists painted the photographs which he took. These colorists would sometimes sign Wallace Nutting's name on the photos which is why the signatures vary.

Hildersham can boast of an early sixteenth century brass to a person unknown in the form of a shrouded skeleton. It is an excellent instance of this rare type, its anatomy a geometric amalgamation of bone and sinew, complete with Catherine wheel nipples. I have also seen in recorded as Mortality Brass 1530 - facsimile at Ely Cathedral by Thomas Fisher.
