It is framed in a lovely Larson-Juhl wooden frame. The artist is Silvia Tejada she was born in Peru in 1958. She studied conservation and restoration. Later she married a well known Impressionist painter. She evolved into one of the best floral painters in South America. This beautiful painting culminated a long struggle to make her dreams come true. Fortunately her husband convinced her to persist. Her exhibitions include important venues like the Museum of Arts in Lima and her work is well received in the United States. It measures 33.5" x 43.5".

"Face A Face" by Jean Cocteau white line drawing facial study on a black background lithograph print on poster medium signed in the print by the artist Jean Cocteau in 1956. Framed by concept art gallery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It originally retailed for $125. Born on July 5,1889 in Maisons-Laffitte, France, the self-taught Cocteau would regularly draw his friends and acquaintances in a distinctive, fluid style informed by his interests in Cubism, psychoanalysis, and Catholicism. He was also a poet. “Poets don't draw,” he once quipped about his artworks. “They unravel their handwriting and then tie it up again, but differently.” Cocteau died on October 11, 1963 at the age of 74 in Milly-la-Foret, France. Today, his works are included in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, among others. This piece measures 28 1/2 inches by 21 inches.

At the 32nd exhibition of the Associated Artists in 1942 he received an honorable mention, and at the 34th annual in 1944, Crawford was awarded the Ida Smith Memorial Prize for best landscape in oil.
