Descriptions:Vintage Singer Sewing Machine model 66 number AA857671. It comes with the original green Singer Sewing Machine Instruction Manual and Singer blind stitch attachment that comes in the original box. It also has the Singer buttonholer and other attachments as seen in pictures. The machine has the famous Bentwood case and is prized by quilters for its universal stitch length. The Singer 66 was the first mass produced sewing machine, that produced a near perfect stitch. When sewing well the 66 will out-sew nearly any modern machine through a huge variety of fabrics from linen to lace, horse blankets to buckram. It is simply near perfect engineering but this came at a price. A Singer 66 was one of the most expensive sewing machines on the market at the time (1916) costing several months wages.
